We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting in the diagnosis of patient illness.
Responsibilities:- Perform CT diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages, adhering to department protocols and procedures.
- Locate and record internal elements of the body, identifying any anomalies indicative of disease, injury, or other medically significant conditions.
- Adjust equipment and calm patients to eliminate test artifacts, monitoring for potentially dangerous physical and emotional changes.
- Evaluate test results for clarity and accuracy, reviewing tests with peers and physicians as needed.
- Inform physicians of preliminary findings, distributing completed test results to physicians and service providers.
- Maintain patient charts, entering diagnosis and billing codes, logging data into patient information systems, and updating file systems for tests performed.
- Clean and sterilize equipment and workspace, recognizing equipment malfunctions and readjusting or reporting for repair as necessary.
- Instruct patients in pretest preparation, answering questions, and explaining procedures.
- Maintain equipment according to Infection Control procedures, performing equipment quality checks and troubleshooting problems.
- Call for service and notify team members as needed, following quality assurance guidelines and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Clinical Radiographer background with a minimum of 2 years CT clinical experience required.
- Valid ARRT license, registered in CT.
- Preferred qualifications: VIA experience, strong communication skills, ability to interact with client personnel and team members in an autonomous, responsible, professional, and ethical manner.
