Job Title: Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team at Olmsted Medical. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including computed tomography (CT) scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and review patient requisitions to ensure accurate and timely completion of imaging procedures.
  • Record and document patient information, including medical history and test results, in a clear and concise manner.
  • Screen patients for contrast media and administer as necessary, while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Assist radiologists with protocoling and ensure proper use of restraint/support devices.
  • Perform daily quality control checks and document results.
  • Assist with CT accreditation process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Use computer systems to document patient information and ensure accurate billing and charging.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to radiation safety and adhere to established protocols.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program.
  • Licensed by the ARRT and in good standing with CE's.
  • Registered by the ARRT in CT or registered within 18 months of being trained in CT.
  • 50% of shifts need to be in CT.
  • Prior experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, with 0.8 FTE. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
