Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Chenega MIOS SBU. As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide labor support to various locations within the NAVFAC Washington Area of Responsibility, performing various tasks and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute electrical engineering design and production support from project inception through construction.
  • Review other electrical engineers' work for code compliance and constructability.
  • Estimate design efforts and provide technical expertise in negotiations with Architectural-Engineering firms and general contractors.
  • Address contractor submittals and requests for information (RFIs).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of specialized electrical facility schematic design and design development experience, including demonstrated experience with the evaluation of new and existing facilities' electrical systems.
  • Secret clearance required.
