Drydock Mechanic

Hutco, Inc. is seeking a skilled Drydock Mechanic to join their team in Norfolk, VA.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs and maintenance on drydocks, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drydocks, including welding, brazing, and other mechanical tasks.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the ship repair industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including welding, brazing, and other relevant skills.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
