Job Overview:
We are looking for a qualified instructor to conduct training sessions for Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid (Adult & Pediatric), and BLS as part of a blended learning program. The practical skills sessions will be held in a designated training area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate CPR, AED, First Aid, and BLS training sessions for groups.
- Educate participants on how to effectively respond to emergencies and apply lifesaving techniques.
- Instruct on proper methods for treating injuries, including bandaging wounds and managing burns.
- Foster a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
- Employ effective teaching strategies to enhance participant understanding and retention.
- Demonstrate correct procedures for CPR, AED usage, and first aid techniques.
- Assess participant performance during practical exercises and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay informed on the latest guidelines and best practices in CPR and emergency response.
- Complete necessary reporting and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Strong public speaking abilities to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Comprehensive knowledge of CPR, first aid, and emergency response protocols.
- Previous experience in teaching or training roles.
- Capability to adapt instructional methods to suit various learning styles.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with participants and create a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills for managing class schedules, materials, and documentation.
