About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Affordable Property Manager to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG). As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our 90-unit low-income housing tax credit apartment community in Downtown Portland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, including marketing, maintaining property integrity, and screening prospective residents.
  • Collect rents, serve notices, and prepare reports and agreements.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to ensure timely and effective repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including landlord-tenant laws, state and federal labor laws, and fair housing laws.
Requirements
  • Two years of previous customer service experience.
  • One year of previous property management experience.
  • Experience with LIHTC communities required.
  • Previous Entrata Property Management Software experience preferred.
  • Basic experience with MS365, including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks, including collecting rent and preparing reports.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies.
