The responsibilities of the Medical Assistant include:

  • Assessing and preparing patients for consultations
  • Recording and monitoring patient vital signs in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Administering vaccinations and injections
  • Conducting electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  • Responding to patient inquiries
  • Coordinating referrals and managing prescriptions
  • Performing additional tasks as needed

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant, mandatory
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a medical setting, preferred
  • Strong proficiency in computer systems and EMR
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • A friendly and approachable personality
  • A collaborative spirit
  • Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Experience in phlebotomy is advantageous

This role is structured for weekdays only, with operational hours as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
