Job Title:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Tech to join our team as a CVOR Specialist. This is a local contract opportunity that requires a minimum of two years of current CVOR Surgical Tech experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform scrub functions, including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedures.
  • Perform circulating functions, including monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Directly assist operating physicians with surgical tasks, including hemostasis, suturing, and wound exposure, as well as patient positioning.
  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments and equipment for use.
Requirements:
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
  • National Institutes of Health (NIH) certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Passionate about patient care.
