Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Oversee daily and weekly production targets, ensuring efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain production levels to ensure adequate supply and optimal inventory carrying costs.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive and engaging work environment through recognition, clear communication, and support.
  • Collaboration: Build collaborative relationships with other plant areas and functions, including QA and Maintenance.
  • Reporting: Report daily consumption and output levels.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years of experience in a leadership role in production.
  • Food Processing Experience: 3+ years of experience in food processing, with a preference for meat-based products.
  • Bilingual: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with production and warehouse administration functions, including ERP and MRP systems and inventory controls.
  • Certifications: Certification in HACCP preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Work Experience: Experience working in a USDA facility and familiarity with USDA requirements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred but not required.
