Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced finisher/sprayer to join our team at JG Custom Cabinetry & Design. This is a full-time position that offers consistent year-round work. The successful candidate will be responsible for finishing a variety of cabinet parts and components, as well as setting up, operating, and maintaining spray guns/machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working knowledge of paint equipment and application is essential.
  • The ability to determine paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality by performing visual inspections is crucial.
  • Maintaining equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently is a key responsibility.
  • Minimizing waste of raw materials and working in a clean and tidy manner is expected.
  • The successful candidate must be self-motivated with an eye for detail and steady hand-to-eye coordination.
  • Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and must be willing to comply with all health and safety rules and regulations.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Prior experience is required.
  • Excellent attendance is expected.
  • Attention to detail and quality of work produced is essential.
  • The ability to learn to spray to a color/quality standard is necessary.
  • Ability to work in an organized manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard, and in the necessary time frame.
  • Ability to walk and stand continuously throughout the shift.
  • Hours and overtime dictated by production, including daily and/or weekly (weekend) overtime.
Education and Experience:
  • Prior wood painting experience is a must, with a minimum of 5 years.
  • Stain matching experience is also a must, with a minimum of 2 years.
  • Wipe & spray application experience is a must, with a minimum of 2 years.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.

  • Eligible for benefits after a 60-day probationary period.
