Key Responsibilities
  • Lead group exercise classes, ensuring a safe and fun experience for all participants
  • Develop and implement effective exercise programs that cater to diverse fitness levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member needs and concerns
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive class environment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in group exercise instruction
Requirements
  • Principles of YMCA Health & Fitness certification and YMCA Group Exercise Instructor certification
  • Working knowledge of group exercise equipment and ability to lead safe and effective classes
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work with diverse populations
  • CPR/AED and First Aid certification
