Key Responsibilities- Assist in supervising up to 15 associates in the Meat and Seafood Department
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers
- Collaborate with the Meat and Seafood Manager to plan, assign, and direct work
- Appraise performance, provide feedback, and make recommendations for improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
- Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
The Meat Management Assistant will work in a cool environment with an average temperature range of 34-36 degrees Fahrenheit. The position requires frequent exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
