Job Summary

Madden Industrial Craftsmen, Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of industrial equipment, including HVAC systems, gas engines, pumps, and oil burners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve equipment performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, gas engines, pumps, oil burners, and electrical systems.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Excellent mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Tools: Must possess a set of tools, including a rollaway/tool chest.
  • Substance Policy: Must be drug and alcohol-free and able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
  • Personal Qualities: Reliable, hardworking, productive, and a quick learner with effective communication skills.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid and clean Washington State driver's license.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Efficiency: Capable of working quickly and efficiently.

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous mechanical experience in HVAC repair, engine repair, fabrication, welding, industrial equipment, or landscape equipment repair is highly regarded.
