Overview: We are seeking dedicated Safety and Security Specialists to uphold the safety and security of GLWA facilities and personnel. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting the Great Lakes Water Authority, its workforce, and its clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement critical security measures in accordance with established protocols and procedures
  • Observe and report suspicious activities while responding effectively to emergencies
  • Utilize advanced technical equipment and mediate conflicts
  • Exhibit excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations and uphold security standards
  • Enforce applicable federal and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service
  • Possession of a Concealed Pistol License (CPL), certified training, and a valid Driver's License
