Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality home care services to patients in their homes.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of patients' home care, including developing and implementing care plans.
- Collaborate with patient care teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Provide education to families on patient condition, needs, and care.
- Perform head-to-toe physical assessments, check vital signs, and manage medications.
- Administer injections, IV therapy, or tube feedings, and maintain catheters.
- Complete documentation timely and accurately, and supervise LPNs and HHAs.
- Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team.
- One year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), with a minimum of six months home health experience.
- Current RN license, specific to the state(s) assigned to work.
- Current CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation and liability insurance.
- Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age-specific needs.
- Familiarity with general computer use, including user names and password concepts, internet, email, and navigation of computer desktop.
- Attractive pay, with annual salaries ranging from $65,000 to $85,000.
- A full benefits package, including choice of affordable PPO or HSA medical plans, paid time off, and up to $1,300 in free healthcare services paid by Amedisys yearly.
