Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Firefighter EMT to join our team at the Orlando Executive Airport. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for providing firefighting and emergency medical services to the airport and its patrons.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide firefighting and rescue services as needed
  • Operate and maintain fire department equipment and apparatus
  • Perform routine duties in the care and maintenance of fire department property and equipment
  • Participate in training and studying methods, techniques, and organization
  • Assist in the implementation of the Airport Emergency Plan and respond accordingly
Requirements
  • High school graduate or possess a GED certificate
  • Background investigation and pre-employment drug screening
  • NIMS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certification
  • NFPA 1001 Firefighter II certification (State or ability to obtain reciprocity)
  • NFPA 472, Hazardous Materials-Operations certification (State or ability to obtain reciprocity)
  • NFPA 1003 Airport Firefighter certification (State or IFSAC) or completion of an FAA 40-hour approved course with current annual burn
  • Florida EMT certification at time of hire and maintenance throughout term of employment
  • Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy
