Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Engineer, APAC Liaison to join our team. This role will be responsible for establishing knowledge about clinical arenas related to our products, understanding the current state of end-users and patient environments, and building expertise in relevant anatomy and disease states.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish knowledge about clinical arenas related to company's products
  • Understand current state of end-user and patient environment
  • Build knowledge about relevant anatomy and disease states
  • Attend key scientific conferences and engage with clinicians
  • Support specific Clinical Engineering (CE) team deliverables to establish CE processes/functions and team in the APAC Area
  • Establish training method and support physician training
  • Support clinical activities in APAC
  • Establish CE preclinical evaluation lab operations
  • Support specific Clinical Engineering team deliverables throughout the project's lifecycle
  • Provide input on clinical hazards and documentation to inform product design
  • Document existing procedure workflow and new product workflow throughout development process
  • Provide input to development teams to define and validate clinical performance goals for products
  • Write protocols, conduct formal testing, and report results of preclinical, formative, summative, and validation studies throughout the design process
Requirements
  • Entry level to 3-5 years of experience in a medical devices industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; Master's degree preferred
  • Proficient in business level Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Ability to effectively communicate concepts, ideas, and knowledge to other individuals and teams
  • Knowledge of basic anatomy, clinical terminology, and general surgical techniques
  • Knowledge of fundamentals of robotics or electromechanical systems
  • Experience in gathering customer feedback, generating user requirements, and conducting validation studies on medical devices
  • Experience in the regulated medical device environment, including but not limited to document control processes, design control processes, protocol development, and report writing
  • Ability to travel internationally 50-75% of the time

Pay Transparency

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee's pay within this range is based on a number of factors which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location of the posted role. Noah Medical reserves the right to modify this range as needed based on candidate experience level and/or specialized skills. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.

California Pay Range

$92,200-$115,300 USD

Noah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
