In this position, you will play a crucial role in assisting developers and clients with the infrastructure you help to create, serving as the first line of defense for our platform against potential security threats.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate the current technology stack and formulate strategies for continuous enhancement of application delivery.

2. Set milestones to assess and track the delivery and reliability of software as strategies are put into action.

3. Identify manual processes within the software development lifecycle that can be automated for efficiency.

4. Create a cloud migration strategy for applications not yet hosted in a cloud environment.

5. Regularly review the company’s infrastructure and hosting expenses to uncover potential cost-saving opportunities.

6. Establish best practices and guide fellow engineers in enterprise-level DevOps solutions.

Technical Environment:
Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, Terraform, Auth0

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Kubernetes, GitLab, and Terraform.

• Proficient knowledge of cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred).

• Experience in developing continuous integration pipelines (Azure DevOps and GitLab preferred).

• Proven track record in establishing continuous delivery pipelines (Azure DevOps and GitLab preferred).

• Skilled in provisioning cloud infrastructure and re-platforming applications to a cloud setting.

• Experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale systems (experience with .NET, Node, Go, Vue, Angular preferred).

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.

• Up-to-date understanding of best practices concerning system security measures.

• Experience collaborating with cross-departmental teams to ensure the smooth execution of project plans.

Remote Work and Additional Requirements:
This role is remote, and candidates must be located in the US.

Candidates must have authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
