Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional support to our healthcare clients in the Youngstown region. As a PRN dietitian, you will work on a flexible schedule to help with coverage at multiple accounts, providing expert nutrition therapy and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Complete nutritional assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for inpatient and outpatient care
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutritional needs and best practices
  • Document patient assessments and interventions in the medical record
  • Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patient nutritional status
  • Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
  • Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) certification and state licensure
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and healthcare industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
