Job Title: QC Inspector I

Job Overview

The QC Inspector I plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all documentation. This position may also involve assisting in the release of sterilized products and thoroughly reviewing sterilization records. The QC Inspector I is tasked with Incoming Quality Control (IQC) to confirm that received products adhere to all inspection criteria and to release compliant items.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive document reviews.
  • Examine all Device History Records (DHR) for precision and thoroughness.
  • Cross-check detailed information within the DHR.
  • Initiate corrections for any discrepancies found in DHR records, including times, temperatures, documentation errors, and counts.
  • Uphold exemplary record-keeping practices.
  • Place nonconforming products on hold in the system and physically.
  • Verify essential documentation (such as Purchase Orders, Certificates of Analysis, Certificates of Compliance, Material Safety Data Sheets) prior to inspection activities.
  • Complete all receiving documentation as mandated by procedures.
  • Inspect materials using various measuring instruments, verify counts, and utilize specification sheets and drawings.
  • Document all findings related to nonconforming materials.
  • Perform quality control and release testing on products, as well as incoming quality inspections and tests of raw materials.
  • Generate reports for any errors or nonconformances identified.
  • Maintain a spreadsheet for tracking and trend analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and organized maintenance of quality records.
  • Manage the quarantine area in accordance with Quality Hold Procedures.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Environment

Enjoy a clean, air-conditioned workspace in a modern facility. Required attire includes closed-toed shoes and work pants or jeans paired with a plain shirt. Standard working hours are from early morning to early afternoon, Monday through Friday.
