About the Job

CrossMed Healthcare is seeking an experienced Surgical Tech - CVOR for an exciting travel allied job in Dallas, TX. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and instruments
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient information
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain cleanliness of rooms and supplies

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech
  • Graduate from an accredited school of surgical technology
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
