Job Summary:

Option Care Health is seeking a skilled Reimbursement Specialist to join our team. As a Reimbursement Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate submission of invoices to payers for services and products provided.

You will evaluate payments received and apply them accurately to patient accounts. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in following up with payers to ensure prompt payment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit timely and accurate invoices to payers for services and products provided
  • Evaluate payments received and apply them accurately to patient accounts
  • Follow up with payers to ensure prompt payment
  • Assist with billing and collection training and complete second-level appeals to payers
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-6 months previous infusion reimbursement or intake/admissions experience
  • Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel and Word
