GATR Truck Center is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team in WAUKEE, IA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing heavy, medium, and light equipment body work, ensuring high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a $2,000 signing and referral bonus, as well as a team bonus program. Key Responsibilities- Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
- Perform work with efficiency and accuracy, resulting in quality repairs for customers
- Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Disassemble and reassemble fabricated truck and trailer parts
- Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Participate in manufacturer and dealership-sponsored training programs, schools, and events
- Supervise work of any apprentice technicians as assigned
- Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment
GATR Truck Center is an authorized Volvo truck, Hino truck, Mack truck, and Kalmar Ottawa dealership serving 5 locations in Minnesota and Iowa. We are an authorized Hyundai Translead Dry Van Trailer dealer as well. Requirements- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Driving Record Insurable through Company Carrier
- CDL certification preferred
- 1-3 Years Experience Preferred
