Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a critical, non-critical, and chronically ill setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various technical and diagnostic respiratory therapy procedures, including airway management, ventilator management, and oxygen delivery device management.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in emergency response situations, including Code Blue and White responses.
  • Perform advanced practice skills, including therapeutic gas management, pulmonary function testing, and bronchoscopy assist.
Requirements
  • RCP License in the state of employment required.
  • BLS required.
  • CRT certification through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred.
Work Environment
