We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for members and associates. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and parking areas.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also be comfortable working at heights, lifting heavy objects, and operating equipment such as floor scrubbers and pallet jacks.

As a Maintenance Associate, you can expect a competitive hourly wage range of $16.00 to $23.00*, with additional compensation in the form of premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance tasks, responding to spills, and disposing of waste in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
  • Clean all areas of the facility, including floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles, while following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
