Robotics Assistant Coach - Extra Duty Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Robotics Assistant Coach to support our Robotics team at Abington Heights High School.

As a key member of our coaching staff, you will assist the head coach in leading our Robotics team to success in local and regional competitions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve success in local and regional competitions
  • Design and build innovative robots using knowledge of engineering, electrical, and/or carpentry principles
  • Foster a positive and supportive team environment, encouraging high school aged students to attain their goals
  • Collaborate with community members to enhance the team's experience and outcomes
  • Plan and lead practices and preparation for competitions on a weekly basis
  • Participate in competitions held on weekends
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of engineering, electrical, and/or carpentry principles
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with high school aged students and community members
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Compensation:

$2,000 for the school year
