UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of cancer treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
- Obtain localization images according to planned treatment delivery
- Assist physician or nurse in the administration of contrast agents used during treatment localization
- Perform measurements for use during treatment calculation
- Collect and document data acquired during the simulation procedure
- Accurately input treatment-related data into the verify-and-record system
- Completion of a formal radiation therapy technology program in a JRCERT-accredited institution
- ARRT Registration in good standing or Board Eligibility within six months of hire
- Maintain 24 CEU's per Biennium as required for ARRT Certification and Licensure
- CPR certification required within 30 days of beginning employment
