Electrician Trainee

KenMor Electric Company, LP is seeking a skilled Electrician Apprentice to join our team. As an Electrician Apprentice, you will assist in the installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment.

• Assist in the installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment.
• Help assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
• Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects.
• Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the field organization.

• Possess a valid State of Texas Apprentice Electrician License and valid or pending B.A.T. certification, levels - 8.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb in inclement weather with exposure to extreme cold, heat, noise, and dust.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested.
