Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Assist with training and development of new pharmacy technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately count and measure medications.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and technology, including pharmacy systems and inventory management tools.
