Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at Commercial Employees, a veteran-led staffing firm with a strong presence in the Pittsburgh area. As a Pipe Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of pipe systems for various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate pipe installation
  • Use gas cutting torches, grinders, pipe threaders, and welders to fabricate and assemble pipes
  • Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems for gas, water, and air applications
  • Perform on-the-job training and mentorship to ensure high-quality work
  • Meet physical demands of the job, including standing, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Load and unload shipments, and pack and pull products with accuracy
