Agricultural Machinery Technician

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Machinery Technician to join our team at Parallel Ag. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to repair and maintain agricultural machinery.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs, including experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics. They will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex equipment issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

This role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits such as health insurance, 401k matching, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain agricultural machinery, including tractors, combines, and other equipment
• Detect and diagnose complex equipment issues using diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
• Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• 4+ years of experience in mechanical repairs, preferably in an agricultural setting
• Strong understanding of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
