Job Title: Facility Security Officer

T-Solutions is a leading provider of innovative solutions and services to government contracting clients. We are seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer to join our team.

Job Summary

The Facility Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a Facility Security Clearance portfolio and managing all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other related security activities across T-Solutions portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct FSO duties including, but not limited to, processing Prime and Sub DD254s, escorting uncleared personnel/visitors, maintaining facility checklists, conducting routine inspections, maintaining databases, responding to emerging security-related issues, processing outgoing visit requests, and validating incoming visit requests.
  • Maintain Personnel Security databases to track new employee security clearance actions and annual security training completion status.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local security regulations, including NISP and Defense Security Service (DSS) requirements.
Requirements
  • A bachelors degree in security administration or a related field of study is preferred, but not required.
  • Six plus years of experience in an FSO-related role working with personnel to ensure contract security compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual, DoD Manual, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254), and Program Classification Guides.
  • FSO certification required.
  • In-depth knowledge of security regulations and procedures, including NISP and DSS requirements.
  • Experience with security clearance processes and investigations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a defense contracting or government security role is highly desirable.
  • Active DoD TS security clearance is required to start.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
Physical Requirements

The ability to frequently traverse stairs, sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling, reaching, handling, and using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices, lifting boxes (files and supplies) up to 20 lbs.
