Guidance, Navigation and Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidance, Navigation and Control (GN&C) Systems Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced GN&C systems for our Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop GN&C systems for the FBM program, including hardware, algorithms, and software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GN&C systems with other program components.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Conduct system-level testing and validation of GN&C systems.
- Work with customers and partners to understand their requirements and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field with controls courses or industry experience.
- Experience with MATLAB/SIMULINK for GN&C analysis.
- Experience with system and software testing, preferably related to GN&C.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required).
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Experience with model-based software development using Simulink (and autocoding), Cameo or Rhapsody.
- Experience modeling missile platforms and understanding missile hardware and avionics.
- Experience applying discrete or Monte Carlo simulations.
- Python Scripting experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members.
This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
