About the Role

ArchCare is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ArchCare at Home-Westchester. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' physical functioning and providing training and assistive devices to enhance their independence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized plans of care and provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical functioning and provide training and assistive devices to enhance independence

Develop personalized plans of care with patient and caregiver involvement

Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Teach patients and caregivers how to use adaptive equipment to promote independence

Maintain open communication with physicians and other healthcare team members

Salary: Fee for service $75 per visit, $80 for evaluation

Requirements

Current NYS license to practice as an Occupational Therapist

Degree from an accredited institute for occupational therapy
