The Role

We're seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you'll be responsible for creating classic and innovative drinks that exceed our guests' expectations. You'll work closely with our culinary team to deliver exceptional service and ensure that every guest has a memorable experience.

Responsibilities

• Drink Menu Expertise: You'll have a deep understanding of our drink menu and wine list, including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation.
• Service Accents: You'll deliver exceptional service by incorporating Service Accents, such as SSA presentation, bread presentation, wine service, and dessert presentation.
• Bar Service: You'll be responsible for the complete service at the bar and lounge, including maintaining a constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room.
• Cleanliness and Organization: You'll maintain a clean and organized bar and lounge area, including resetting the area during and after meal service.
• Point of Sale and Inventory Management: You'll be proficient in using our Point of Sale system and managing bar inventory.
• Communication and Teamwork: You'll work closely with our culinary and management team to ensure seamless service and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Guest Satisfaction: You'll listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding service, product, and personnel.
• Delegation and Leadership: You'll effectively delegate service responsibilities to assisting staff, such as bussers.

Qualifications

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to serve or pour alcohol.
• Education: You'll have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: You'll have at least one year of bar service experience in a fine dining outlet.
• Language Skills: You'll be able to read, write, and speak verbally in English.
• Communication Skills: You'll have excellent communication skills and familiarity with the hospitality industry.
• Relationship Building: You'll be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with department management, staff, personnel, and the general public.

Reporting Relationship

You'll report to the F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager.

Exemption Status
