Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for HVAC projects, working closely with clients and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bid document review and analysis
  • Pre-bid meetings and client interface
  • Quantity takeoff, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
  • Spreadsheet input and proposal preparation using Quote Express estimating software
  • On-site and in-house estimating, working with design firms on design-assist and design-build projects
  • Interface with construction project teams and CAD detailing staff
Requirements
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Bluebeam, Internet, Lotus Notes, and QuoteExpress windows-based piping and sheet metal estimating systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Demonstrated ability to perform basic business mathematical functions and interpret instructions
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage time and details effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years mechanical construction experience
  • Proficiency in preparing large and complex bid proposals
