Student Program Coordinator

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to assist with the planning, development, and implementation of designated student programs and services at The University of Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and develop targeted programs and services to promote student success and retention.
  • Serve as a liaison with various offices on and off campus to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Counsel students, facilitate support groups, and advise student organizations to promote academic and personal growth.
  • Assist students in resolving academic problems and evaluate students for proper placement in class levels to ensure academic integrity.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, classes, and other special programs for students to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain accurate records, including student files, inventory, personnel, and other office files to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Assist in the development and administration of office policies and procedures to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Research, collect, and analyze data or information to prepare reports or responses to inquiries.
  • Create student newsletters, brochures, handbooks, and other publications to communicate important information and promote student engagement.
  • May coordinate or assist in the coordination of special projects or student-related events to enhance the overall student experience.
  • Perform various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position and contribute to the success of The University of Oklahoma.
