Job Summary:

The Per Diem OB Technician will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, as well as providing support to the surgical team during procedures. This is a per diem position, requiring flexibility to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room, including setting up and cleaning equipment.
  • Provide support to the surgical team during procedures, including handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and clean environment in the operating room.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year of experience as an OB Technician or Surgical Technologist.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment.
