Job Summary

The Clinical Services Manager will oversee the delivery of safe and compassionate nursing/clinical support at HOPE Clinic. This role will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and Quality Improvement to ensure the highest quality care for patients.

This position will supervise medical assistants, Back Office Supervisors, and Medical Assistants Team Leads at all clinic sites. The Clinical Services Manager will maintain adequate clinical staffing, monitor lab results, and participate in quality improvement projects.

Requirements include a Texas LVN/LPN license, Basic Life Support certification, and 3 years of nursing experience with 2 years of supervisory experience in healthcare.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, Arabic, Burmese, Chinese, or other languages, and have above-average language skills, public speaking, and writing abilities.

This role will be a clinical leader for all medical assistants and will model quality care. The home base for this position will be at HOPE Clinic – Beltway, located at 7001 Corporate Dr. Ste #120, Houston, TX 77036.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure medical assistants maintain up-to-date clinical competencies and skills
  • Enforce and inform medical assistant staff on HOPE Clinic clinical policies and procedures
  • Supervise Back Office Supervisors and Medical Assistants Team Leads at all clinic sites
  • Maintain adequate clinical staffing at all locations
  • Monitor receipt of labs and submission of reportable disease documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives
  • Assist with patient care, medical procedures, and patient discharge
  • Be flexible to travel to other sites as needed
