Job Summary:

Operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Assists physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Assists physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
  • Positions patients correctly for ultrasound procedures.
  • Develops and processes ultrasound images for interpretation.
  • Maintains accurate records of patient procedures and results.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or radiology.
  • Eligible or possess a current RT(R)(S)(VS)RDMS registry or ARDMS(RVT) registry.
  • At least three months of work experience in ultrasound.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in a hospital setting with frequent exposure to patients with various medical conditions.
