Operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Assists physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Operates ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
- Assists physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
- Positions patients correctly for ultrasound procedures.
- Develops and processes ultrasound images for interpretation.
- Maintains accurate records of patient procedures and results.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasonography or radiology.
- Eligible or possess a current RT(R)(S)(VS)RDMS registry or ARDMS(RVT) registry.
- At least three months of work experience in ultrasound.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a hospital setting with frequent exposure to patients with various medical conditions.
