Cardiac Sonographer IV

The Outer Banks Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer IV to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures to help diagnose heart problems in patients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in cardiac ultrasound technology and be able to operate advanced imaging equipment. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures

Requirements:

• 
  
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  
• ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI (RSC) registration or must be registry eligible with registration obtained within 12 months of date of hire
  
• 0 years of experience as Cardiac and/or Vascular Sonographer
  

Working Conditions:

• 
  
• Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm, 36 hours per week
  
• No on-call or weekend shifts
