Responsibilities:

  • Collect, decontaminate, inspect, lubricate, and assemble equipment and instruments following standard precautions and infection control protocols.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) certification or equivalent experience required.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, and sterile supplies required.
  • Understanding of electrical and mechanical safety principles required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
