Job Summary and QualificationsAs an Inpatient Medical Surgical Registered Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing care to medical patients and complex care patients (strokes, wounds, brain injury, general debilitation, respiratory issues, and trachs). You will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs, and assist in rehabilitating patients so they can move to acute rehab or be discharged.
- You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers, as well as document required information according to hospital policy
- Our nursing staff is expected to present themselves in a professional manner
- You must function in an organized and time-conscious manner
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS & ACLS certification
