Position Overview
We are seeking a Systems Safety Engineer who will play a critical role in managing and upholding Systems Engineering Processes and Deliverables. This position demands extensive experience across all facets of Systems Engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development of Safety Processes in alignment with SAE ARP4761 and ARP4754A standards.
- Create Safety Assessments, including Functional Hazard Assessments (FHAs) and System Safety Assessments (SSAs) as outlined in SAE ARP4761.
- Determine Function Development Assurance Level (FDAL) and Item Development Assurance Level (IDAL) for systems based on Safety Assessments.
- Establish and oversee Safety Requirements.
- Conduct Fault Trees Analysis utilizing CAFTA software.
- Perform Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Common Cause Analysis (CCA).
- Collaborate with System/Subsystem Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop System Level Safety Assessments.
- Engage and communicate with regulatory bodies such as the FAA and EASA.

Qualifications
Familiarity with:
- SAE ARP 4754A and ARP4761 Industry Standards
- FAA Part 21 Regulations
- FAA Part 25/EASA CS-25 Aircraft Regulations
- RTCA DO-160G, DO-178C, DO-254, DO-331
Candidates should have 10-12 years of experience in Systems Engineering, including a minimum of 5 years in Systems Safety Engineering within the Aerospace sector.
Proficiency with software tools such as CAFTA, Siemens TeamCenter, SiemensNX, CAMEO, MATLAB Simulink, MATLAB System Composer, and MS Office Products is preferred.
