Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Central Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at Bienville Orthopaedic Specialist LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and decontamination in our operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Control and monitor the sterilization process, ensuring all equipment and instruments are properly cleaned and sterilized.
  • Collaborate with OR staff to provide timely and efficient delivery of sterile products for various procedures.
  • Monitor surgery schedules daily to identify needs and ensure adequate supply of sterile products.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of operating rooms between cases.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in a hospital OR setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Current BCLS certification and Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
