Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Central Sterilization Technician to join our team at Bienville Orthopaedic Specialist LLC. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of sterilization and decontamination within our surgical environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire sterilization process, including effective decontamination of surgical instruments.
  • Collaborate closely with operating room personnel to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies for various surgical procedures.
  • Monitor daily surgical schedules to identify and address specific needs for all cases.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness of surgical rooms between procedures.
  • Keep accurate records in compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital main operating room setting.

Skills and Competencies:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and calmly with patients, medical staff, and physicians.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification; Surgical Technologist certification is preferred.
  • Strong customer service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in completing tasks efficiently and accurately in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of analyzing data and resolving complex issues independently while managing time effectively.
