POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for executing a wide range of financial services including account management, time deposit renewals, and addressing client inquiries, maintenance, and issue resolution. Collaborates with the Teller Supervisor to develop, train, and inspire lobby associates to effectively assist customers and promote bank products and services. Possesses foundational knowledge of basic deposit and loan offerings. Identifies sales and referral opportunities, striving to achieve related objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures effective and professional execution of financial service functions.
  • Communicates and clarifies Bank products and services to clients, aiding in fulfilling their financial requirements, including account management for checking, savings, time deposits, and retirement accounts, as well as handling safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and basic consumer loans.
  • Addresses client inquiries and resolves issues by actively listening, gathering information, and providing solutions.
  • Analyzes client profiles to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Utilizes lead lists and other techniques to cultivate additional business.
Maintains professional business relationships with clients.
  • Handles client requests and inquiries promptly, courteously, and professionally.
  • Processes new client accounts and modifications to existing accounts, such as name changes, address updates, and product alterations.
  • Safeguards the confidentiality of customer account information.
  • Upholds and enhances the Bank's professional image.
Coordinates effectively with area personnel and management.
  • Provides assistance to area personnel as needed.
  • Keeps Banking Center Manager updated on area activities and significant issues.
  • Completes necessary reports and records accurately and timely.
  • Participates in meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Oversees annual reporting and special projects relevant to the banking center.
  • Reviews new account entries for accuracy as needed.
  • Supports Treasury Management with new accounts and services for clients.
  • Ensures daily logs are accurately completed and organized for review.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Actively promotes Bank products and services, aiming to meet sales targets.
  • Completes related clerical tasks as necessary.
  • Maintains a clean, secure, and organized work environment.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Financial service functions are executed efficiently and accurately in line with established policies and security protocols. Strong business relationships with clients are fostered, with client issues resolved promptly and courteously. Effective collaboration with area personnel and management is maintained, with appropriate support provided to staff. Reports and records are accurate and timely. Continuous efforts are made to develop new client relationships and enhance existing ones by identifying opportunities to promote Bank products and services. The Bank's professional reputation is consistently upheld and communicated.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of financial services and products offered.

Experience Required:
Customer service experience preferred. Personal banking experience preferred. Previous banking experience preferred.

Skills/Abilities:
Exceptional communication and public relations skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Proficient in operating relevant computer applications and business equipment, including 10-key and telephone. Strong mathematical and bookkeeping skills.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
40 hours per week.
