Position Overview:
The Director of Cyber Security Programs will be responsible for managing risk and overseeing the cybersecurity program at Invenergy, LLC. This individual will bring project and program management expertise to the management of cyber security programs, policies, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a comprehensive security program in accordance with industry-recognized security frameworks.
- Lead a team responsible for creating and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of the security and compliance program.
- Prepare and present technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a cybersecurity training and awareness program for employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage the third-party risk management program to ensure the security and integrity of Invenergy's operations.
- Negotiate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and publish reports on security and compliance program metrics for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the availability of required skills and competencies across project teams within the program.
- Act as an advisor and build relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
- Monitor and coordinate dependencies across projects in the program and resolve conflicts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Fundamental understanding of risk management frameworks, including NIST 800-37, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001.
- Understanding or experience in building and maintaining compliance programs for NERC CIP, GDPR, PII, and NIS.
- Experience leading cross-functional discussions and working with matrixed teams to achieve common goals.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to challenge normal operations.
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications: CISSP, CISA, and/or CISM.
Compensation and Benefits:
$180,500 - $213,675 per year. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), bonus, paid time off, and other benefits.
