About the Job

We are seeking a part-time Geek Squad Agent to join our team at Best Buy.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, is passionate about technology, and has excellent customer service skills. As a Geek Squad Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical support, knowledge, and solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
  • Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes, and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
  • Help set up and repair technology devices for customers.
  • Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
  • Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
Qualifications:
  • 3 months of experience in working in retail or customer service.
  • Possession of a passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
  • Able to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
