Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team at Williams-Keepers LLC.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of a comprehensive Firm-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. This includes supporting auditing teams with resources, training, expertise, and problem-solving help to complete auditing projects. The Supervisor will use auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Additionally, they will prepare audit reports, documentation, and recommendations for enhanced controls or processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with regulations and professional ethics of the AICPA, MSCPA, State Board of Accountancy, and the firm.
  • Knowledge of pronouncements of the FASB, GASB, and AICPA, such as Statements on Auditing Standards.
  • Professional competence, technical expertise, and experience in auditing and accounting.
  • Good project management skills to handle multiple engagements, tasks, and responsibilities effectively.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Master's degree.
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe software platforms.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Travel, both overnight and during the day, is required. Extended hours are also necessary at certain times throughout the year, depending on client needs.
